16 And Over - TMP - 2019 Pre-Ride of the Two Taverns 2019 Picnic Version - 59 Miles - 8:30 am - 59 mi - Steve Zeldin,   410-812-6816,   szeldin@comcast.net
START: TMP - Taneytown Memorial Park -- Ride Terrain: Rolling With Hills,  Ride Leader's Pace: 16 mph,  Regrouping: Some,  Rest Stops: Snack,  Rain Cancellation: Precipitation >60%,

We ride the BBC Summer Picnic 16&Over Version of the Two Taverns Ride (2019).

Park/start at the small lot off Playground Rd.  This is a pre-ride for the picnic, so we may encounter route detours and other cuesheet irregularities.   If you are desperate for early tentative cuesheet or course file, then send Steve an email.

While the picnic riders tend to ride this all-out, the Tuesday riders are a bit more relaxed.  This means regrouping, especially after bursts of enthusiasm, and otherwise a conversational 16+ ride.

Ride has first snack break at the Subway (or 7-11) in Biglerville (mile 28).
Then a second break for Ice Cream at the KOA Campgrounds at mile 41.  This is a great stop!

Come join the fun!

May 7th kicks off our annual Tuesday Night Time Trial series.

TNTT is a FREE event, covering a ~14 mile TT loop that starts right by Veloccino in Butler, MD. The staggered start ride takes riders through the bucolic countryside of Baltimore County. With about 1,300 feet of climbing in this loop, you may or may not wish to leave the pure TT bike at home.
